Great game!

I've only played the demo on Steam, but the more I see of this old prototype, the higher my hopes get for the future of this game, because you guys seem to really understand what works and what not. 

There's lots of things in the removed levels that really seem to kill the flow. Some too complex levels that turn into puzzles to figure out an efficient route, some have too many enemies in a room that force you to play too defensively, some drop in enemies at a too slow rate, making you pace around a room for too long... 

The Steam demo however cuts out all the drag and delivers only the finest turbo-violence racetracks. Every level flowing so perfectly buttery smooth, allowing you to push forward near constantly like the unstoppable object you are meant to be and whenever there would be too many enemies in a room, there's always some explosive or an Uzi user strategically placed to still enable that aggressive push.

It tells me that we are on the same page about when this game is at its best: when you play fast and furious and absolutely will not stop... ever, until they're all dead! 

And man, do you make guns feel good. That shotgun feels AMAZING even though it's the least efficient of the bunch and the bang of the pistol is just right. (though the Uzi's sound could use a little more punch, like the other two have). 

I also really appreciate the quirky style and goofy humour. There's just too few games that ditch realistic graphics/settings and just let creativity go wild like this. I wish more games would give the rule of cool more power.

if you are a fan of hotline Miami boy are you in for a ride. this game has great music and great gameplay. its a fps run and gun. 9/10 ez

This is barely a prototype, cause it's already such a complete game. I'm happy with the game as it is, so I can't imagine how much better it'll be at full release!

I love the simplicity of the game loop, while still keeping it challenging and enjoyable. The artistic direction throughout the entire game is super solid. And I love how your enemies dance on your corpse immediately after you die, 9/10, maybe 10, it's really good.

How do you activate the game on linux

super FUN game! the hard techno music, the fonting, the pure simple violence of kicking, the level design with tight corridors, enemy placement, the end of the level rewards... all great!!! 10/10!
only things that would be cool QoL features would be controller support or remapping controls :) maybe some vsync. but those are extras, the core game loop is super fun, recommending to others!

Beat your game using only a foot. Can't wait for the full release of the game. :)

i play this game a few years back and had absolute blast and i’m happy to say that this game has only gotten better in that time span. The up beat music , The Graphics , The Levels Just everything from top to bottom has improved immensely and that’s something you love to see with a game like this I can’t wait continue playing and get any further. This is a pretty fun high octane game! I like how the core combat mechanic of kicking is really fun! Just running and jumping into kick is satisfying and i'm glad that it doesn't take more than 1 hit to kill an enemy and keeps the momentum going. It's just a me problem but I did get a little motion sickness playing all the levels in one sitting but nonetheless really enjoyable! Can't wait to see the full version on steam!
